Young Boy Travels Two Miles Solo To Rescue A Puppy In Need
One day, a 13-year-old South African from Delft, one of the poorest neighborhoods in Cape Town, walked alone 3 kilometers to save his puppy.
He noticed his dog had stopped eating and had bloody diarrhea, so he took action and went out to get help.
He walked two miles into town to an animal shelter that helps care for the community’s dogs and cats. Stöckigt, a member of the relief organization, said:
“She was fragile and the boy said he didn’t have enough money to feed her. We told her we would do everything we could to save her life and find her a new loving home where she could be cared for. expressed our gratitude to her for bringing her to us for help.”
Nanuk, the puppy, suffered from parvovirus, a fatal illness that she would not have survived if left untreated.
Nanuk regularly received visits from other foster kittens at the shelter, which helped to boost his morale.
“I think it’s a combination of the kittens and having one of us by his side all the time, encouraging him and loving him…” According to Stöckigt. Nanuk’s rescuers are looking for a permanent, loving home for him.
Nanuk would starve if she didn’t eat.
Thank God for the good heart of this young boy, who saved his life!
Nanuk is now looking for a forever home!
